Tyron Bands fitted or not ?

We have just purchased a used twin axel Bailey 2006 and cant quite work out wether it has Tyron Bands fitted or not. We had two new Tyres fitted to our Discovery yesterday and asked the tyre fitter if you can tell if a tyre has a Tyron fitted. He said that usually a red dot or a circle is marked next to the valve. Has any one out there herd of this as when we look at our tyres there is a red dot stamped on all four tyres next to the valve. There is also a small yellow circle stamped on the opposite side of the tyre. We are not sure if the tyre fitter meant that the wheel should be marked or the tyre. Any help would really welcomed. Many thanks Jason

Many tyre manufacturers place a dot on the sidewall to indicate where the valve should go.

I have stickers, about 20mm in dia, one on each alloy wheel as an indicator that Tyron bands are fitted. They are by the valves, metallic silver and clearly marked in black "TYRON".

Thanks very much. I think thats what the dots are as I have now checked with a tyre company.

Thanks Jason
