Has anybody converted to the ultraflow filter system from the Carver crystal system,and if so can you tell me if the new system is size for size in the apperture in the side of the van,

We’re currently investigating an issue related to the forum theme and styling that is impacting page layout and visual formatting. The Ultraflow housing is slightly smaller than the Carver.
There is an adaptor plate which is required to make up the difference, but basically it does fit with no more cutting required.
The inlet however has a different socket to accept the pump, but again, a replacement pistol grip inlet is available or a new pump

The new Ultraflow is all but a straight swap for a Crystal mk2 or mk3 filter housing.
The mounting screw holes are different but the old redundant ones in the van are covered by the new housing so sealed and not seen. The other difference is the Ultraflow does not have it's own non-return valve so requires a separate in-line one to be fitted.
The adaptor plate is for changing from the mk1 housing to Ultraflow, just like the old mk1 to mk2 adaptor
