Ultrastore Waterheater 850 watt

The last time I used my Ultrastore water heater I inadvertently drained it down without first turning off the power. I have not had chance to test it yet, but will this have caused any damage?

Does any one know if the heater has an overheat cut out switch or fuse?

Hi Jim, Yes the Ultra-Store has a cut out to protect the element, but it only operates so many times before the element fails completely, Remove the power source, fill the tank with water in the normal way, switch on, if it works then fine if not the element will require replacing, funnily enough had to replace one for this very reason on Christmas Eve.
