Underfloor insulation

Hi does anyone know of a product that i can fit under my caravan to insulate the floor.
I often use the caravan when it's very cold(-18) and the pipes that run to the taps freeze in the floor.
The product would need to be waterproof and i may have to cut it to fix around caravan chassis.
Thanks in advance
Keith

Hello Keith,

Most modern caravans already have 30 to 40mm of rigid foam insulation built in to the floor panel. This is usually pretty good.
Kingspan do a range of ridgid foam insulation panels designed for fitting in between roof joists. They are relatively light weight and provide a high degree of insulation.
In roof spaces they are relatively easy to fix, but under a caravan where they will be subject to mud, and water and vibration they may not last so long. However as much of the under floor has extensive flat surfaces an adhesive may be a possible solution.

Its great having mains underfloor heating
