Are there any unusual sites out there? Something with a real interest, somewhere when you get there, your first words are "they put a caravan site here?"
 
The Camping & Caravanning Club site at Ebury Hill, Haughton, Shropshire is quite unusal. No toilets or showers (only Water,CDP & waste)On a wooded hill fort with a lake. This park is very popular and quite unusal.

Eype House is a place where one could really ask, "they put a caravan site here?" primarily because no caravans are alowed because of difficult access and a steep site. However, it is possible to camp with a tent and/or a small motor caravan. I found it while looking for sites with a view of the sea and it has outragesly beautiful views.
