Without looking through all threads. I would have thought, logic would dictate it remain down, but not load bearing. Majority of weight when van in use is to the front. I keep mine down as a precaution. Just in case there is a fault in one of the legs. Rare but has happened. Also. To any newbie, before you unhitch. Drop the jockey wheel, and give about 4 turns "before you lock it off." Then raise off towbar. The amount of people I see struggling to hitch up when leaving is staggering..
