We always have had 4 burner hobs, mostly gas until the later vans with 3 and 1. We have always done a lot of cooking in the van.

We found the difference in use to be minimal. Personally I would live with it. If the dealer swapped it out it could cost the best part £1000. Separate hobs take up precious space.

Buying any caravan involves a lot of compromise.

Is it possible to get a dealer special in the van that you fancy, that does have an already upgraded job, with the electric hot plate?

Missing out?! You have no idea. Our air fryer cooks practically everything. 15 mins at 180 degrees in most cases. Changed my life.
