Anyone have any tips or recommendations for giving upholstery/matresses a good clean. No bad stains just needs a good freshen up.
Thanks Steve. I was wondering if one of those rug docyors you can hire would be any good.Hi David, I use Auto Glym Interior Shampoo (i am sure other makes are available!)which I get for my car from Halfords. I take all the upholstery home, lay out a tarpaulin and then go to work on it all in one go. I spray the cleaner on, use a soft nail brush to agitate the shampoo and then after a couple of minutes, use a damp J Cloth to wipe it all over. Any stubborn stains from food mishaps etc may take a couple of applications but once done and it's had time to dry, it looks and smells as new. Of course, you should check colour fastness first by trying it on a hidden area. Hope this helps.
