There are lots out there and they make fine tow cars, but what should you check for? Click here for our 2008-2017 Vauxhall Insignia Sports Tourer buyer's guide.
Went at looked at one when they first came out. Didn't realise it was the one with the bigger boot. I thought it was the hatch back version. I know it's a sports tourer not a traditional estate but our dog crate wouldn't even fit so not necessarily a good tow car from the boot space point of view. IMHO 😗
The saloon doesn't have much boot space either, especially when you have a full size spare wheel. The diameter of the wheel well is OK for full size, but is only half depth (that for a skinny spare) so the boot floor is raised by 4 inches on pre-formed polystyrene mouldings, thus reducing height.
