Using your shower in a compact washroom

hi there, just a quick question.

We have never used our shower in our all in one compact washroom, however may need to in future.

However I have heard comments that with compact washrooms using the shower can cause dampness as no matter how well you close the curtain around you, water and dampness still penertrates the caravan.

Is this true or just fiction as again I don't want to cause problems with my caravan.

Also does anyone have any good items they use to wipe down and dry off the washroom after using the shower?

Many Thanks.

Hi,

I have made some clamps to hold the curtain away from me whilst showering. You could also try velcro, but the self adhesive would need stitching to the curtain. To dry the arae out I use a car wash microfibre mitt, but a chamois is as good. (Preferably dead and skinned). Make sure you ventilate the shower arae well and leave the curtain extended until dry. No problems with mould then.

Hi, we've used our shower a lot in our compact washroom for two years and don't seem to have a problem. We use an ordinary towel to dry the shower room out after, I have heard that these wallboard showers are for infrequent use only but the dealer never mentioned it to me when we bought it!

My damp readings on service have always been acceptable so far so I will wait with baited breath for this years report.
