Hi guys off to France in a week and half . The problem is we bought a new car and log book won't be here will we be OK with just section 10 off logbook and poss our invoice as proof of purchase . Phoned dvla and they were not helpful at all thanks Jogn
 
Tthe couple of tomes I've been stopped in France and Spain they have wanted passport, driving licence and insurance but never V5c. Perhaps because insurance stated my car reg number which was not necessarily the case when I took company cars into Europe.

So I think you would be pretty unluck if you had a problem.
