Vaneer colour

Good afternoon All, I own a 2006 swift challenger 490 caravan. Over the year some of the vaneer has chipped and peeled off from the cupboard doors and the panel under the front window. Would anyone know the colour or name of a similar veneer for me to repair it. Any help would be much appreciated.

The problem you might have us that any "new" covering (it's almost certainly not actually veneer) Could well be a different colour because yours will nave faded a bit over time, and the new stuff will be, well new and perfect.

I don't know how true it is,I was told in certain instances it was printed on,thus the peeling

That's what I was trying to say but couldn't figure out how to!!
It's a bit like IKEA furniture, the "wood grain" isn't actually wood.
At tgat age I fear you might struggle to find any sort of match, but I coukd be totally wrong! It wouldn't be the first time, and certainly won't be the last I am aure

My old Castleton Rowena had this problem. Too old to waste a lot of money on new doors but young enough to want her looking good.
We covered all the old door cupboards with stick on “Fablon” wood effect plastic.

Things have moved on and the current range of plastics that look better than wood is here

Mine had the same problem,when I tried to clean it very thin flakes came off,I didn't like my first attempt with the grey paint so it was all rubbed down,doors taken off and papered with a commercial grade vinyl covered paper,I also took the MDF moulding of and used pine moulding that I've stained, I'm going to carry with it later today and get a bit more done,,

Thanks all,off doing a bit more on it shortly...with regard to the panel patterns being printed on if I remember rightly British Steel Pioneered as similar process onto metal way back in time
