Vauxhall Corsa

Don't ask why but I was watching an old "Price is Right" earlier this morning. As a Woosie it's suitable PG viewing! Anyway a basic Corsa cropped up as a prize being worth over £9000. Didn't catch the year but it looked like a Corsa 'B' which stopped around 2000. Move forward 16 years from that and we're on Corsa 'E' Guess what? Yep we paid just over £9000 for a brand new Corsa last year. Seems like we got a good deal for once.

They are good car . I had a Corsa, it was the SXi model limited edition Nepal yellow but look like gold , very few about , that was on a 51 plate . I kept that for 13 year I only got rid of it a few years ago (2o13) as I started to have a few problems yet I still see it driving about where I am working , looks nothing like what I had it kept too , but still after a 13 year I got £1,400 for it.

Martin24,
Watching a present edition of 'The Price is Right' is sad, watching an older showing of this show, is even worse.
I'm embarrassed to share the same Christian name.
As for the Corsa, my late father had one and it served him well.
Regards,

My 96 year old father has one, and my 25 year old grandson has a very new one with far too many widgets.
On the topic of price I have just returned from an interesting visit to the British Motor Museum and it’s an amazingly interesting place. Some of the exhibits have their original selling price. There was one Jaguar which when introduced to the motoring press they thought it would sell at £650 but it’s list price was £375. Figures may not be dead accurate but in the right ball park.
Also the investment that JLR have and continue to make at the design and engineering center next door is nothing short of amazing. I just hope Brexit doesn’t derail the grand work that’s been done since TATA took over.
