vectra 3.0cdti elite estate

been reading back through forums for vectra info

only found on 2.2cdti has anyone got a 3.0 estate as it looks a possibility on an 05 plate to pull my twin with mtplm of

1595 any feedback would be good as i am still unsure as to which estate to go out to buy as cant afford to make wrong decision will need to keep next car for a good few years

i would think larger engine would have less trouble ?

The Vectra 3.0 diesel estate car is only an option for you in its manual form, not automatic. Early automatics with the Y30DT engine only had a maximum permissible towload of 1200kg. This was later raised to 1500kg when it was replaced by the Z30DT engine, but that would still not be enough to meet your needs. The manual variant has always had a 1800kg limit. An alternative would be an automatic 3.0 diesel saloon which has a 1600kg limit.
