Hi folks

I have a new mondeo estate and I am new to caravanning. I have just purchased a 2005 Bailey Pageant and was wondering what towing mirrors would you recommend and what caravan insurance.

the insurance offers are a little mind boggling so does anyone know a reliable and reasonable priced insurer.

We're with Park Homes for our insurance. Not had to claim so can't comment on that aspect but they were recommended to us. They are underwritten by Zurich and were the most competitive quote we could get.

We got our best insurance quote from Adrian Flux. There are so many variables so what might be good for one isn't necessarily good for someone else, but it doesn't cost anything to get them to quote.

I too have a mondeo estate and use the 'Suck it and see' mirrors. I find these easy to use very little vibration (when I had clip on mirrors I found the mirror housing vibrated and affected visibility), no arguing with SWMBO about altering the position. As for insurance I use NFU direct found these to be cheapest, althought the CC gave me a fairly competetive quote this year. Made a claim with NFU with no problems
