Before i bought our large porch awning, i made sure that the size i bought did not go over any windows.. that way you stop a lot of draughts & you don't scratch your windows....

Maureen i bought a eurovent veranda it comes out from the van 2.5mts & is 3.5mts long, there is a photo of it on chit-chat at the moment... here
