Ventura Atlantic - all at sea!

Hi, has anyone had any experience of tensioning one of these awnings? Our first time out and 2 large lakes formed on the roof. Young son likened them to something unmentionable!

We did re-tension, but still one appeared. Any hints please, do we need to buy a tensioner? (although the whole awning process did it for me!).

Thanks Michele

I had this problem with my 1050 awning. What I do now is put the first peg in nearest the caravan and then pull the awning back from the other end to make it tight in the awning rail and then peg that side. I have not had any trouble since ,hope this helps....brian

always peg the canvas down either side of the awning rail first making sure its near enough even when possible, erect poles and then peg the two front coners in line with the sides ov the van to get the correct shape.tension poles to desired tension then peg down(middle pole first)thats the way i always do it and have no problems
