Agreed, very sad. It is a warning though that fire can spread very quickly in a caravan so do have an escape plan ready.

Very sad to read anout the loss of a young life have to agree about checking fire alarms also if you need a new fire extinguisher Aldi are selling a 1kg dry powder for £8.99,

Don’t know about you however years ago practically every caravanner had a fire bucket located outside there tourers - don’t seem to witness that much nowadays - terrible tragedy nonetheless

I agree, it was terrible.
I still put mine out at the front of the caravan.
I hope that I never have to use it, but it 's not a wasted effort on warmer days because passing dogs sometimes take a drink of water and we get to chat with their owners.
