vets in france

we are going to the cherbourg area in may and taking the dog for the first time. we travel home on a tuesday at 05:00 hrs and the dog will need to be checkrd between 12 and 24 hour before we sail home. does anyone know if vets work on sundays in france

Our vet in Calais doesnt normally work Sundays but if I contact her before we leave for France she is always able to accomadate, Ive not needed to go on sunday but I think it may reflect in the price paid.

Just a word of warning--- take every bit of paper work relating to you dog, over the years weve been asked to produce all sorts that we havent felt to be relevent--- its a French thing!!
