Video to DVD Tranfer

I dont know if anyone can help but I have lots of VHS videos I shot with my camcorder. Recently I bought a DVD Recorder and would now like to copy them to that format. A person in Comet told me it was just a matter of connecting my DVD up to the Video Recorder with a scart lead but I'll be b*ggered if I can work it out.

it should just be as easy as your comet man says,when you link the two together with scart leads and set the dvd to the av setting it automatically show whats on the video.these videos are of a wholesome nature,i presume?

i find its best to watch what you are recording ,keep the dvd recorder remote in your hand ,and when you reach a part you dont want on the dvd press the pause button ,and when you have passed the section you dont want ,press record again
