Hi all.

Hubby and I are newbies. Off on Fri for our 1st weekend to Woodlands site in Forest of Dean - saw a not very glowing report about one of the Forest Holiday sites, hope its not our one. We have bought a Bailey Pageant Champagne 2002 and a Sceanic Plus porch and towing with Discovery 3 TDV6. Many sleepless night trawling through websites trying to get all the kkit - setting up costs a fortune!

I hope your trip goes well, and that you have a great time and enjoy your new hobby of caravanning.

Whoever said it was a cheap holiday obviously has not done it, but at least once the initial outlay has been met,the items are usable for a long time.

Just take your time, and make getting there part of the holiday, it is not a race to get there in the shortest possible time, and allow much more room for accelerating, stopping, and overtaking, remember, you wil be twice as long as without the van on the back.
