Vodafone Dongle -PAYG

I have just cancelled my contract for my Vodafone Dongle and want to go on to PAYG. How do you top this up / go about it? Can I use the same SIM card or do I have to get another? Which ever way, does the card have to be fitted into a 'phone to be topped up, or what?

i have an o2 dongle ,i would imagine it works the same way, just plug it in ,automaticaly goes to the o2 website (if I can get a signal that is )were I can buy 24hrs for

Unfortunately the long lasting use Vodafone dongle option has been discontinued by Vodafone a new ones have to be topped up every month. They are still honouring the previous set up for existing users.

Hey dave. If you don't use your O2 dongle for a few months (we'd only use it when we went away in the van), does it stop working?

I have a 3 PAYG dongle - they dont seem to mind if you dont use it for a while...

The only downside is coverage - they dont have everywhere in the country covered. So I've been relying on my orange mobile this easter - but even then the 3g coverage was patchy

i had a 3 dongle it is good in the south east of England ,but crap in Wales , the further west you go the worst it gets
