Volvo Safety net

After parting with my Volvo V70 I realised that the safety net was in the garage. Thse sell for £240. They fit V70 and XC 70. And perhaps other estates.

It is this:

I need to part with it, so had an idea. I called the local dealership and suggested they might sell it to a known customer and put the proceeds to a charity of their choice.

Answer.

Our accounting system will not allow us to do this!

So, if anyone is interested, please PM me, If you pay the postage, and make a donation to RNLI, They can be yours.

That’s a nice gesture. My XC70 had a metal grid that pivoted down from its stored position in the roof.

My previous V90also had the fold-down metal dog guard, in the glove box were the original blanking plates removed when it was fitted at the dealership (it was an ex-demonstrator that they'd spec'd up) so when I changed to the new V90 I removed the guard and sold it on EBay (the new one had a pull-up net guard).

The fold down guard sold for nearly £150!!!!!
