VW Touran tow car test

What kind of tow car is this seven-seat MPV? Motty puts the VW Touran through its paces in our tough tow test.

An interesting car but the new SUV,s from SEAT and Skodia seem to undercut it on price and use what I think is the same running gear. It would be interesting to get a comparison test between the three but I doubt VW will let it happen.
From my point of view we are looking at replacing the car next year and this sort of thing will be considered> we need to look at three child seats in the car in a row if possible and so far only the French manufacturers seem to fit have ISOfix fittings across the back which might limit our choice. I have not seen any road tests that comment on this but it is something that is important to many families and has already driven my daughter to a Renault Scenic despite her preference for Nissans. It might be the manufacturers are losing out by fitting two.
