Wales V England

Back page of today's Daily Mail is the heading of how the Red Rose Kids aim to make it a Welsh whitewash. Monday's heading should now read how the Welsh Dragon burnt the petals off the Red Rose Kids.

The other five internationals were not won by the Welsh as some of our players didn't feel very well, they were bad under the doctor, and they would not let us rearrange the dates for the fixtures.

Making excuses already, Colin?

I would like to say that, "As long as it's a good game, the outcome doesn't matter". I would like to say that, but we all know it isn't true.

Petal wraps dragon.

At the end of the day in a competition there is only one winner and the rest are loosers.

England had a few players out to, even on their best of days they were only going to beat Wales, but not win the competition.

So they are both loosers but Wales more so than England ;-)

Lol - bad loser - it is a good thing that I have respect for the female contributers to this forum otherwise I would reply in good old Welsh rugby club language.

Never said you was a bad loser Colin, there's not many that can say that they are a good one. If the do, they didn't try hard enough in the first place! (Don't you just love sweeping statements like that?). No, on the contrary, if you want to be prepared for the outcome, it's probably for the best.......

Lol - Now that I am retired and my brain is not quite so active I am totally confused by your last posting. Still all I can say is the better team won on the day. Pity though regarding Ireland, they threw it away at the end.

I'm not sure why I deserved that comment Colin. But I'm more Celt than Anglo Saxon.

If you want to split hairs Wales came below Italy and England came 3rd leaving Wales as having a lucky day leaving them 2nd to last ;-)

Cris considering Italy are a relatively new entity when it comes to playing international rugby I think in their short time they have improved immensely. As I have stated many times my comments are directed in the lightest possible way and are meant to be more humourous than offensive. They are not meant to cause any personal hurt to any individual. However I cannot recall any postings relating to your Celtic ancestory and as you are living in England I assumed that you were of Anglo Saxon origin. Just like Lord B. eh what what.

Well yes you are right Colin and I guess Italy are fairly new to the nations comp it makes Wales and Scotland look quite poor ;-) with Italy neatly putting England above them as top of the heap of home nation sides ;-)

Mainly Cornish blood in me pal.

English Cornish or Celtic Cornish - that is the question?

As an England fan I was disappointed with their performance particularly when they seemed to hand the game to Wales in the first few minutes.

The real nail biter of the day had to be that last French try against Scotland, poor ref (Irish), it was the right decision though.

I can not remember any competition being that close right into completion of play!
