Parksy, can you remember the first Imps with the pneumatic throttle? No cable, just a tube full of air with a diaphrgm? And the basic Police model, with no heater and cardboard door trims? As you've said, if you could keep it cool, it was a great little car.
I believe the retro racers now have the radiator up front, which works OK.
Our dealership was also Austin and Standard-Triumph, so I had Austin Sevens (mini) and Triumph Heralds to play with as well!
