wanadoo

Yes mine was the same. I got mine working again by going to Tools, accounts and then under properties i altered the POP3 settings title from pop.wanadoo,co.uk to pop.orangehome.co.uk.

Did the same with the SMTP line. This worked for me EVEN when using System Restore did not.

PLEASE do not attempt this if you are unsure about changing it as i do not want to be held responsible.

Cheers Darryl

Some of you with older ADSL modems using BT lines may find you have or will get some problems. Our UK system went dead on us, the remote desktop set-up was dead and my daughters UK office and work data could not be accessed on her server.

BT had upgraded the exchange over a weekend and the D-Link modem was no longer compatible with the exchange.

The modem had to be changed for a newer spec to cope with the faster newer exchange.

If your area has slower ADSL system and has an upgrade due, check that your modem is compatible before the update.
