Drive to a busy round about wait for a cap in the traffic move forward over the white line on to the round about 4 ft and stop. When the car coming out behind waits for a gap and moves forward BANG in to the back of your car(make sure your car has a spare wheel mounted on the back door it makes a bigger mess) you then jump out exchange details. Then contact one of these accident claim companys (no win no fee) also helps if you work in the NHS and sit back and wait for the lovely money.

Thanks klarky I needed a laugh. Just spent the morning fuming over this womans cheek, the list of personal injurys she is claiming for I'm suprised she could drive the car after never mind jump out and move around like she did. I must have been driving a rocket to accelerate to such a speed in 4ft.

yes some people are just born to rip people or companies off through bogus claims.its not unknown for these people to actually manufacture these situations and force people to have accidents whereby they are the innocent party(so they would have you believe)and claim for what they can get out of the insurers.its the american way???

Hi Paul

It may be this woman had no choice, let me explain;

Two years ago I had stopped on a busy main road waiting to turn right across on-coming traffic when ' bang'! I was re-ended. Turned out the old boy had had a heart attack at the wheel of his Vauxhall and driven into me at about 60mph. As you can imagine I was genuinely injured, ambulance, hospital, surgical collar, physio etc. When I eventually made a claim for my written-off Passat I was paid the value less my excess. When I queried this with my insurance company I was told the excess had to be claimed via using the legal aid on my policy in association with my injuries claim. But I do not want to make an injury claim I told them, then you won't get your

Martyn your right it is a scam and its as you say the insurance companys are involved with helping it to continue. Its not a scam against insurance companys its against all of us who pay for insurance, a couple of years a go my daughter was hit from behind she was with the same company as I am, with the forms she was sent was a form for her to fill in from a personal injury company encouraging her to claim for whiplash.

I talked her out of doing it as it was not moraly right for her to claim if she was not injured, the company kept on to sending leeters telling her to claim which she did not.

After this experiance I'm begining to think I should have kept my mouth shut.

At the end of the day its all of us that are the lossers with higher premiums.

When I had my accident last year with my caravan a line of vehicles were held up as a result. The fourth car in the line was a couple with a young child in a people carrier. As the oncoming traffic allowed the hold up behind me moved off. About ten minutes later the couple came back and said the wife was traumatised and could they have my name, adress, etc. which I gave to them. After a week or so I had two letters from the same solicitor claiming for trauma, loss of work, etc. They were under two seperate names and were not married. I passed this to Saga who responded as I had told them of the circumstances and nothing further was heard. Trying to rip off the insurance no doubt.

Seem to remember an article some time ago concerning someone trying to claim after running up the back of another vehicle. This person was told he was lucky not to be charged by the police as it is up to the person behind to watch where they are going.

I hit someone from behind on a roundabout after they had cut across me taking all my braking space then stopping on the roundabout,I had nowhere to go so hit them. They admitted they were lost and were looking for signs,it went to court and i lost and they claimed for loss of earnings and repairs to the car.The judge said its your fault if you hit someone from behind as you should take care and attention. When you ask for an insurance quote now the first thing they ask is have you received compensation for an accident.

About a year or two ago an uninsured driver knocked over and killed a young lad in Dorset. It turned out that he had previous convictions for driving without Tax MOT or Insurance.

His sentence was paltry and there was an outcry in all the papers - especially as after about three weeks (he was not jailed) he was photographed by a reporter driving a car despite a further ban for killing the young lad.

One other thing came out in the publicity - this uninsured driver had successfully claimed on another drivers insurance for personal injury on a previous accident!

What a world!

Some years ago in Myrther Tidfyll I had a lorry hit my car he just didn't stop.

Smashed all the off side wing and lights.

No damage to the lorry he was so high up and made of metal.

Yes, I got ripped off big style, the day after I had a call, the company wanitning my Ins details. My escort apparently smashed his lights that wer 12" above my car, dented the heavy metal, broke his central number plate 3feet in front of my car.

I for once used my brain, and immediately took photo's when I got home.

Yes after 3 years of fighting it my Ins company caved in, and I dropped them.

Even with the evidence of photo's they just don't fight for the customers anymore it is easier and cheaper to settle today. that's what I was told.
