We would like to position a touring caravan on a Dorset (or close) site for the whole summer so family can come and go for weekends and holidays.
Do such sites exist?

Yes the CMHC have sites in Dorset. CCC Forest Holidays have summer seasonal in the New Forest. Not sure though what facilities you would require. If it’s bars and pools then a private site would be required.

Hi,
Think you are after a seasonal pitch these cost around £2000 + and are normally open about 8 months a year. Your caravan is pitched for you to come and go as you please. Some sites offer part seasonal for 3-4 months.
Your best place to look is up campsites pick area tick seasonal and fill in all other details you want.
The other option are look for a site with storage they will normally tow caravan out for fee and put it back in storage after for you.

We are currently on a rally at Birchwood Tourist Park, Wareham. They have plenty of seasonals here. Nice site with good facilities. Can’t help with prices. Within 20 miles is Studland bay, lulworth cove, Dorchester and Poole.

The Dorset Hideaway near Bridport offers seasonal pitches and is family friendly with good facilities. No idea about prices or availability though.

Try Bagwell farm near Weymouth (Chickerell).
Their website is saying they have some pitches available.

We have stayed there before, the site itself is OK, and facilities very good indeed. However whilst we were there some teenagers were badly injured in a gas explosion which was scary to say the least.
