WARDROBES AND CLOTHES

Hi to everyone,

I am hoping with all your experience you might be able to give some advice on how to stop clothes falling of the rails in the wardrobe whilst travelling. I am sure I have read tips etc before but cannot remember what forum it was on. Thanks in advance.

Hi Julie,

Our own method is a length of half inch square wood the length of the wardrobe rail with two spring clips screwed, one to each end of the wood. We clip the spring clips over the rail at the top, sandwiching the hangers between the wood and the rail.

They've never come off yet.

All I ever do is to fill the gap between the top of the hangers and the shelf above with towels as tightly as you can, never had any problems that way

Some also recommend using a piece of pipe lagging over the rail to hold hangers in place but not tried that yet

Some say to buy hangers like those in hotels where the hooks thread on the rail.

What we do is hang each item opposite ways on the rail.
