Wareham forest

Hi I have just booked a week to wareham forest...

Has anyone visited and was your stay a good or bad experience..

Im not to worried about the surrounding area as we sight see during the mornings, I was just wondering if this will be a nice site where we can relax for the rest of the day..

thanks M&M

We stayed at Birchwood in Sept 2006 which is just before Wareham Forest. This park also has direct access to the forest - nice and peaceful and relaxing and great for walking dogs.

There's a good pub along this road "The Silent Woman" and unless it's changed hands they allow dogs in but not children!

Can't really comment on "Wareham Forest" as we've never stayed there - sorry!

Rude or not it would be worth the visit just to meet a woman who is actually silent :O)

Theres a pub by me called The Moody Cow but I don't visit that, I can't see the point when I already have one at home .... hehheh!
