Any ideas on what i can check?

Its a electolux 3 way fridge i only run it on mains so im not sure if it would work on battery or gas as neither are conected.

The caravan is a 2002 hobby if it makes any diference.

Adam, let the fridge operate on 240 for about 30 mins.

Take the lower outside vent cover off, and feel the heating element where it enters the burner tube, about 6 to 8 inches up from the burner.

If it is hot it is working, if not, the element needs replacing
 
Last weekend it seemed to work on and off, Could the element still be at fault??

It was off more than on but the next day it seemed to be damp inside as if it had been working but then gone off again??
