The pic below shows how I fit my mirrors now. As you can see the the car mirror has a good curve on the top, when I fit them there is always a variation.
The bottom of the mirror in flat and, I figure will be easier to fit securely. But where the back cover meets the front of the mirror, along the underside, there runs a ridge of about 3/16th of a inch square that I need to bridge.
I Remember a post (from somewhere) In it someone put a groove in the blocks to allow for this grove.
Is there a right and wrong way to fit these mirrors?? Think mine will hang better from the bottom, Hoping to test it before I start spending money.
