Waste pipe problem

does anyone have the same problem as me with the smaller type waste pipes ie- approx 19mm bore. I find the pipe very difficult to push on the outlet of the caravan, and subsequently have to keep checking if the thing is still in situ.and not allowing waste water to run out onto the pitch. I could do with some sort of soft rubber tube that can be pushed onto the outlet, and then the other end let into the waste tube, either over the od. or into the bore,. has anyone got the same problem, and overcome it, and if so how.I would be a much happier caravanner if someone could help with this annoying problem.

We brew up when we first arrive on site, some of the boiling water is used to dip the end of the drain pipes in.

They slip fully on with ease when hot and then stay fixed in place when they cool.

Thanks for that Jason R, the easy solutions are always the best, will certainly try it the next time out. Thankyou for your interest.

I needed to use a split hose pipes many years ago. Only had 15mm cooper water pipe to make a quick fix joint and it was to big for the pipe. Dipped in boiling water it stretched and went on and I've used the same for caravan pipes ever since.
