WATER HEATER

I have a Carver Cascade 2 Water Heater. We can only now only get hot water from the taps in the bathroom but not from the taps at the kitchen sink. I falso noticed the Cowl on the outside no longer seems to get very hot as it used to. Can anyone please help?

Gregory, if you get hot water from one tap, then try the kitchen tap alone and see if any water comes out of the hot tap, if not, leave the kitchen tap open and open the bathroom tap.

If you then get water from both taps, the microswitch on the kitchen tap has failed and needs replacing.

The cowl should only get warm to hot when using gas to heat the water, on electric it should stay cool, also the weather is cooler now, so the cowl will lose heat very quickly.

you may have a diverter valve this is a common fault some caravans push hot water to both taps but some older vns have a diverter to decide where the water goes
