Water hook up

Hi all. First time caravan owner, would like to know how to hook up water supply to ABI supreme viceroy. There are two hoses underneath the front of the 'van, hot and cold, and a switch above the sink marked pump. This lights when switched on but not sure on the proper way to hook up. Any advice would be super!

Tony, the two pipes under the van are probably only drain points for winter lay up use.

The normal water entry point , and there is only Cold water drawn into the van, not hot as well, will be on the side of the van, usually quite close to the water heater vent/exhaust.

Water is collected in an aquaroll, or similiar, then a pump is attached to the water inlet point, with the pump placed into the aquaroll.

When you operate the pump switch inside the van, along with opening a tap, water will be drawn into the van, filling the hot water tank and pipes as well as the cold water pipes.

Make absolutely sure the hot water is fully primed (no more air coming out of any taps on hot) before switching on the water heater, or you will cause damage to the heating element if using electric, and heat damage if using gas.
