Found quite a bit of water in the wet locker this week. No signs of water ingress from the walls, window or bed above. Must have come in through the locker door seals.
Spoke the Chipping Sodbury who said thoroughly clean the rubber seal and door frame and liberally apply silicone spray lubricant. If that doesn't cure it they will supply a new seal by post ..
Do you think the claen up and silicon spray will work?

Sometimes it does, sometimes not.
It is surprising how much dirt the seals attract, which is not immediately noticeable, but which allow the seal to not "seal" as it should.
They also tend to dry out and become hard so silicone applied rejuvenates them, hopefully, and the problem is cured.
It is worth treating all the seals in the same way ,door, windows etc.

Thanks Damian
As usual for us it's raining at the start of our holiday. Well if the seal still leaks I'll fit a new one when I get back. Good point about all the other rubber bits.

Olive oil on the seal also rejuvenates the rubber seals, not sure price wise what would be cheaper.

I would only add : Olive Oil is meant for Cooking or Salad Dressings and that is where it belongs,,,,in the kitchen
Silicone Spray is meant for automotive and lubricating uses, especially rubber .
