Water leakage

Hi

I have connected the water supply and the pump under the seat is leaking to out side Can you help

Hi Jon water was leaking out of what seems to be the pressure relief of over flow

I meant pictures of the pump so we can see the set up. There would not normally be an overflow unless there is an on board tank. Is there?

And welcome to the forum.

John

Thankyou it’s fixed how do I get the water warm now is it auto matic from the heater under seat when I open tap

First thing is to make sure the water cylinder is full. With the pump on, run the hot tap slowly until it stops spluttering.

Not sure what system you have, but there should be a switch for the ultrastore. Whether you run on gas or electric, takes 20 minutes or so to actually get hot.

It’s not an instantaneous hot water feed. You need to heat the tank using gas or electric. Give it time to heat up then it should feed to your hit taps when you open them. The water used is automatically replenished via your water pump, but of course will need heating then.

You need to read the user instruction manual. If you haven't got one, they are usually available for some Avondale caravans on the Caravan Talk Forum web site.

Hi Thank you for the reply, i left the hot water heat we had no hot water, the heater pump kicked in but nothing at the taps

Without knowing the age of the caravan it is difficult to know what system you have. If you have the system shown in the video on Little Bashers post I assume you have followed the instruction and it has not worked. Once the hot tank is filled and has had time to heat up feel the tank to see if it has heated. If there is no heat then presumably the heater is at fault but can you tell us what system you have, as knowing what you have might enable someone to solve the problem.
If you have heat then did the taps run when you filled the tank? If not you may have a faulty solenoid in the taps, but if neither hot tap works that is unlikely.

The red connector in your photo is an over-pressure release valve - they're prone to failure allowing water loss - simple to acquire via Ebay and simple to fit
