Water leaking - wet locker

I have a Pageant Vendee, been out today to check my caravan and have found water in the wet locker (luckily in the drip tray). Have anyone had the same problem - and know where it might be coming from? or how to stop it?

Hi Paul,

I have the same van a series 5 and have exactly the same problem, i think it actually comes in from around the seal.

When i asked the dealer about it they said to make sure you press the wet locker door in while locking it.

When they tried it supposedly by spraying water around it, of course it didn't leak (typical) but im still getting a problem so im going to try a different dealer i've been using for servicing and see what they say.

Hope this helps

Paul

Haven't had that problem myself ---yet

The door catches are not adjustable as far as I know so it is only the rubber seals that can be replaced to try to solve the problem.

If replacing the rubber does not work then it may be that the door is warped and the whole unit could be needing replacement.

None of the above are very technically advanced and should be well within the capabilities of even the most inept dealer

i have a 2005 Vendee and i had the same problem if the van was exposed to any sort of prolonged rain the tray filled up! I took it back to the dealer and they took the door off and resealed it.problem solved never a spot of water again.

tell your dealer to sort it

Paul, I have a Series 5 Bordeaux and my wet locker is leaking. I took it for its annual service on Monday and told the dealer about it and they checked it out and have ordered a new door frame and new door to be fitted.
