Don't bother! These contents guages are notoriously unreliable and only ever give accurate readings for a limited period from new. The problem lies in tge fact they use probes of different lengths to sense the water level and not the "normal" float and potentiometer used in vehicle fuel tanks.
The other method is have a shower before the wife, when the water runs out she lets me know, but the rest of the day is Hell.
