water on the roof

We have just come back from a pleasant weekend away. There was quite a lot of heavy rain on saturday but we enjoyed it nonetheless. Anyway when we moved the van this glorious dry sunny morning to hitch up, water cascaded off the roof like niagra falls. A fair amount of it landing on the back of my OH who was bending over near the jockey wheel. Amusing as this was, I wondered if it was normal to collect this quantity of water. We have a swift challenger 490.

The roof on a caravan does dip in places usually because of the skylights and arial being bolted down which puts a dip in the roof around them. was up on a ladder doing sumat to my conservetory today and looked at the van roof, its quite wavey, not level across at all. Nothing to worry about i shouldnt think apart from oh getting wet hehe

When you store it for the winter you should park it nose down a bit, to try and stop the water puddleing, or you may get green water marks that are a pain to shift.

Just makes it easier to clean.
