water pump has damaged control panel

hi i think my water pump has damaged the switch on the control panel in my geist lv 550 .the panelhas 3 switches 12v/ battery/water if im correct the water switch makes a contact on the negative side of the 12v this does not appear to be working ,the panel has the number LT202 on it would any one know where i would get one from. put a link wire to the water pump connection to by pass the switch which resulted in the pump blowing a fuse so the pump is faulty

What makes you think the switch is negative switching?
Normally all 12v switching is on the Positive side, which had you link wired would cause a dead short, and a blown fuse.

after further investigation i think it is the negative at the pump ternimal thats at fault , using a independant 12v supply ihave proved the pump works , the posative is the only wire switched so its puzzeling why i would loose a negative
