Damian Moderator Mar 14, 2005 7,510 937 30,935 Jul 6, 2008 #2 Dave, no you are not doing anything wrong. If it is an on board pump, it needs insulating from the floor with rubber pads to absorb the vibration and cut the noise. Be aware though, on board pumps are noisier than outboard ones!!
