Water system leak

Just returned early after finding a leak in plumbing. Water system has pistol type connector and submersible pump into aquaroll, feeding Truma electric and gas heater, mounted side by side with the water fed through a surge damper. Water leak close behind water inlet, or may be in Truma unit. Not removed anything yet to investigate.

Noticed recently the system "sings" when under pressure, even when the heater is not operating. Can only stop it by releasing presure by turning taps on for a few seconds, and turning off pump master switch. Any ideas please?

Stripped the Truma inlet unit down and found a hairline crack spraying water when the pump was providing full pressure. Ordered a new unit and just need a few days to allow the area to dry out.
