Water System

Hi, I have a 1997 Lunar Solar 462 and need help with the water pipes, if I can explain, I removed the water heater from the van and disconected all the pipes and now I I dont know where they go, the water comes in through the filter theres a presure switch if someone could send a line drawing that would be great

Assuming you have a carver cascade water heater, the cold from the pressure switch should T (or Y) split, one pipe going to the water heater, the other going to the cold supply to the taps.
The cold supply to the heater goes on the bottom connector on the right hand side of the heater.
The hot pipe comes off the top connector of the heater.

If you have removed all the pipes that must include the gas connections. Do not attempt to any gas in teh caravan until the connections system has been checked by a competent fitter, for you and your families safety.

Thanks for the replies tried to download the Swift site but there must be something wrong with my Adobe reader, I am sure that if I think about it I will be able to work it out

This is the relevant bit
10:0 WATER CONNECTIONS
10:1 Use ONLY reinforced FOOD QUALITY opaque
hose to avoid unpleasant tastes and smells in the
water.
Note: the reason for the use of opaque hose is
that this reduces the possibility of the build up of
algae in the system.
10:2 When connecting into the water supply pipes it is
advisable to use a ‘Y’ connector as this does not
reduce the flow to the same degree as a ’TEE’.
(see fig.9)
Connect the cold feed hose for the heater to the
existing cold water supply by the use of a ‘Y’
connector. Allow enough length on the hose to
make the connection to the heater through hole in
the wall of the caravan (see fig. 10).
Complete the hot water system allowing enough
hose to make the connection to the heater
through the hole in the caravan wall
