There are lots of reasons why not under the other thread you posted. You can help your wife anyway, you just need to get more aquarolls. As for the winter vanning aspect, it would have to be very cold for the aquaroll to freeze over.....so cold I'd go home !

It doesn't have to be terribly cold for Aquarolls to freeze, or at least for the waterpipe from pump to caravan to freeze. It makes sense to take this inside the 'van overnight if frost is forecast, but an onboard tank solves this problem. I am in favour of an onboard tank!

Hi

I owned an imported Burstener. It had the water tank under a seat. You had to take it out to fill it. This was a bind so I had an external filler fitted and I cannot see why you could not do this. The water tank was then secured by some lugs.

To allow it to empty a pipe was run through the floor to the underneath of the van. This is standard on continental vans. My work was carried out in Calais but any dealer should be able to get this done and supply a suitable tank.

Hi Darren, We have a 2005 Compass Rallye and it has an inboard tank as standard. I must admit that I thought all Rallyes had them as standard but there should be not reason why you cannot have one fitted, or fit it yourself. Ours uses the same inlet point and just has a switch over point inside the van to fill the tank, or use the aquaroll as normal. If I can help with further details please ask.

Alan
