Hi I wonder if anyone can help me when I run the cold water tap in the caravan alot of black bits came out any ideas to cure this problem I

Equally, the black bits could well be algae - all caravan systems need purging with Puriclean, or similar, every year or 30 days use - you'll need to be able to run the system with the filter removed to do this.

Had similar from on board tank in my trecker .

in my work outfit which is a ship and my caravan we regularly use a solution of milton,keep well flushed and a weak mixture. keeps things healthy and no chance of the trots
