Waxing the roof of my caravan

Hi, I want to give my caravan an all over wax. Side, front and back are no problem, but how do you get to the hard to reach section on the roof? I did read somewhere once you can walk on the roof of Baileys (not that I would do this!!!).

Any advice would be welcome.

Cheers

Craig.

You can probably reach a reasonable area from the rooflights. However, why don't you use Fenwicks which you just spray on and wash off?

To be honest not sure why you want to wax the roof anyway. Or, am I just being lazy?

If you have large Heki rooflight you can reach a fair amount with this fully open and a 3 or 4 tread stepladder inside the van. Using a liquid wax makes things easier from an external step ladder - no need to polish as the main purpose is to protect against bird cr*p and sap from trees - just hose it off every year, much easier than trying to get up there with cleaners.

Very easy really. Just tie the polishing cloths around a sponge mop or soft long handled brush.

Work off a good wide base step ladder or we have a small tower trestle on wheels at home.
