Webber BBQ

My Cadac BBQ has just about given up the ghost even though I have replaced the odd part from time to time. Although reasonably happy with this BBQ I did get fed up with cleaning it.

Have been looking around and the Small Webber Gas BBQ's look quite good has anyone got one of these and well do they perform ? The Q100 was the one I was interested in not the very small ones

Has no one out there got a weber BBQ. I know BBQ's have been on before but having looked back on a few pages of the forum I could not find any info.

Hi James S,

We have a baby webber and it is an absolute dream, love it. Cooks beautifully and evenly, easy to control the heat, fab to clean, can't think of anything negative to say. The baby Webber is far and away big enough for four of us, fits in the front locker and away we go. We sit it on one of those very small low tables and plug it into the bbq point on the side of the van. Loved it so much we bought my mum and dad one for their van and they get on with it too (both in their 80s so it must be easy!)

Oh, and I forgot to say, we do chillies and currys on it too as we have the Tefal click on/off handle saucepans which sit on the plate, chuck it all in, shut the lid down and stir now and then - stops us stinking the van out!

Agreed-Webers are excellent and very well made. They are thankfully very easy to clean. We chose the Q120 as it has useful fold out tables. Do shop around though, as there bundles to be had which can save you quite a bit

I just love my Webber Baby Q. I went a bit silly and bought the Webber carrying bag for it (very convenient) and a Webber cover. I converted mine to run off my BP Gaslight bottle as I found the cartridges a bit difficult to find in France.

I use a cat litter tray, under the caravan, to leave the dirty grill soaking overnight. Next morning, using my Webber BBQ brush the crud comes off very easily.

If mine were to be stolen I would go out straight away and buy another one.
