weekend away with new van

well im away this weekend for the first time with my new Sprite Alpine,They still havent got it right as now the motor to bring in the fresh water is onboard the van,thats fine but the hose from the water barrel to the van has a small plastic filter on the end,thats fine to but the stupid thing is the whole thing floats on the surface of the water,so now i guess i will have to tie a knife on the end to give it some weight for this weekend until i come up with some other idea.mmmmmm the mind boggles,

Eddie, This plastic filter is what you say it is a filter. It should be full of of some filter compound and weigh heavy enough to sink itself, looks like you have a faulty one. What you say you will do for the weekend will work but the water wont be filtered, but there are thousands of caravans in use without filters so not to worry. Have a great weekend.J.Lo
